App & software development

The software your business cannot buy

Customer portal, booking system, internal tool: we build web and mobile apps for Swiss SMEs, including operation, hosting and maintenance.

Three products of our own run in production with paying customers. Your app gets built and operated by the same hands.

What you get

Four things that separate software people use from software that gets in the way.

  • The problem first, then the software

We do not start from a feature list but from how work actually happens in your business. Often it turns out half the originally requested features are needed by nobody and the decisive one was missing.

  • Works on a phone as well as a desktop

Not all your people work at a desk. What we build works on a phone in the workshop exactly as it does on a screen in the office, with no separate app nobody installs.

  • Operation, hosting and maintenance included

Software is not finished when it ships. We run it on AWS, monitor it and keep it current. You have one point of contact for development and operation, not two firms pointing at each other.

  • The code is yours

You get the source code and the infrastructure it runs on. If you ever want to continue with someone else, you can. We keep you through usefulness, not dependency.

How it runs

From quote to operation, with fixed scope and price before we begin.

  • Assessment

One or two conversations about what the workflow has to do and where it fails today. That becomes a quote with scope, price and timeframe, not an open-ended hourly budget.

  • Implementation

We deliver in stages and show something usable early, rather than disappearing for months. That way you notice in time if something should be different from what was discussed.

  • Operation

After launch we take on hosting, monitoring, security updates and further development. The same person who built it is also reachable when something comes up.

What comes out of it

One example from practice, with numbers.

  • Over 150 tournaments in three months

Padelta, Switzerland's largest padel operator, runs its events on The Padel Organizer, our platform. In three months that was over 150 events with more than 2,400 players.

  • Technical, for anyone who wants the detail

Serverless architectures on AWS, described entirely as infrastructure as code, with observability for errors, latency and cost. Swiss QR invoicing and payment integration where the application needs it. Migrations of existing systems into the cloud, and cost engineering so the monthly bill stays explainable.

Frequently asked

What businesses ask us most often about custom software.

What does a custom app cost?

That depends entirely on scope, and any number without a conversation would be invented. What we can commit to: you get a quote with fixed scope and price before we begin. A clearly bounded internal tool is a different order of magnitude from a platform with customer accounts and payments, we tell you early which one you are in.

How long does it take?

A bounded tool, typically weeks. A full platform, months. We deliver in stages so you do not have to wait until the end to see something.

What happens if you are no longer around?

A fair question to ask a small supplier. So: the source code is yours and lives in your own repository, the infrastructure runs in an AWS account that can be in your name, and everything is described as infrastructure as code rather than clicked together by hand. Another firm can take over without starting from zero.

Can you take over existing software?

Usually yes. We look at what is there and say honestly whether continuing or replacing makes more sense. Both happen, and the answer depends on the state of the code, not on which would be more convenient for us.

Where does it all run?

On Amazon Web Services, in the EU region by default. If your industry or your customers require Swiss data residency, we set that up. We operate the infrastructure ourselves rather than passing it on.

Often goes with this

Most projects touch more than one of these.

  • SEO, GEO & AEO

Your customers search on Google, and increasingly they ask ChatGPT. We make sure your firm shows up in both answers: technically clean, with content that matches the questions people actually ask you.

  • AI automation

Retyping quotes, chasing invoices, moving data from one system into another: those are the hours that disappear inside a business. We automate them with AI, where it pays off and only there.
